Winter is here!

I think Winter has finally arrived here in MN. I have to admit, I kind of like it! It's not that I love being freezing cold all the time, but c'mon, I do live in Minnesota, it's supposed to be cold in the Winter, right?! It's been such a mild Winter I was feeling a little disappointed and starting to think these Minnesotans were just wimps when it came to Winter. As of this past week I've realized they're not wimps, it really is so cold here (and I don't think we've begun to hit our low), and Winter has finally arrived. If we bundle up really well it doesn't feel too bad. I'm not saying it's not cold, it is, but you simply cannot go outside without totally bundling up, and with that many layers on, it's doable. Besides that, the extra heater I have on my belly seems to be helping me out. We still haven't been dumped with snow like I've been picturing, but it's more snow than we've received in our last 2 Winters combined, so I'll take it.
