10 things that made me happy today

It's been a long time since I've posted one of these. It's about time!

1. Watching Owen line up his cars: see previous post for more details
2. Catching up on the phone with my sister Keri

3. Owen's bus: Owen uses his bus to transport all his cars from place to place. I think it's so cute. I knew that bus we got him from Goodwill a year ago would come in handy someday.

4. This text from my sister in law, Meghan: "I'm eating samples at Costco and thinking of you." It totally made me laugh! I think I'll take that as a compliment. I love me some Costco samples!:)

5. Decorating Cookies: I've been craving these sugar cookies for days and today I made them! After dinner we decorated and ate them together which was a really fun family activity. Owen was mostly interested in the sprinkles.

6. Daily back rubs: It's true, during pregnancy I get a back rub from Ry just about nightly. I'm oh so thankful for them!

7. Warm socks: Today I pulled out my snuggly L.L. Bean socks I got for Christmas in HS. It's that time of year--it's getting cold but I'm not quite willing to turn on my heater yet.

8. Cuddling with Owen post bath time, pre bedtime9. Baby blanket: The plans for a baby girl's baby blanket started today. I can't wait to get going on it!

10. Yummy chili: Tonight we had my sister in law's yummy white chili for dinner. Seriously, it's so good and not very complicated either. If you want the recipe let me know.
